Napa Vineyard 29

Chuck and Anne McMinn

Since acquiring Vineyard 29 in the Spring of 2000, Chuck and Anne McMinn have seen many changes in Napa—most significant among them being the value and importance of building customer relationships. It is this connection with the individuals who come to learn about and enjoy Vineyard 29 wines that has also brought so much pleasure to the couple, as their patrons become like an extended family.

With Chuck’s background as a founder and backer of multiple high-tech start-ups and Anne’s as a Horticultural Therapist for adult day services, the two bring a rich set of talents to a very personal business. This, combined with a commitment to sustainability, a willingness to experiment with new technology to maintain the valley in perpetuity, and careful, patient techniques that create wines which fully express the potential of their vineyard heritage, contribute to the McMinn’s being amongst Napa’s most revered and loved vintners.

One of the many rewards of the wine business Chuck and Anne enjoy is being able to use the wines produced by Vineyard 29 to support charities. As the founding vintners of Napa in Newport, Chuck and Anne are extremely special to CureDuchenne; thanks to the McMinns brilliant concept and support, Napa in Newport has raised a total of $2.45 million since its inception in 2015. The McMinns are now thrilled to bring the opulence of Napa to Napa in Newport and look forward to further benefitting CureDuchenne and its lifesaving mission.
