We remain strong, stable and committed to you

Cure Duchenne News

Dear Duchenne Community,

We are proud that, through these difficult times, CureDuchenne is continuing to invest in research, to expand our programs and offer services to the Duchenne Community. All of us are feeling the personal, emotional and financial toll this crisis is taking. Yet, when considering the situation of our community, I am struck with gratitude – not despair.

That is why, on behalf of CureDuchenne, I want to express our gratitude to those families who have worked tirelessly. Thank you for supporting us with your golf tournaments and dinners, galas and marathons and all the creative ways each of you helped to fund our innovative programs. It is your years of service and support that helped get us here now.

Our venture philanthropy model has positioned us to double down on that commitment through smart, impactful investments.  We continue to fund research, expand our Cares services and maintain our strong voice of advocacy with the regulators that shape legislation affecting our community.

Continued Investments: CureDuchenne recently announced a New Partnership with Dyne Therapeutics, to develop next generation Exon skipping research

Expanded Care: Online Professional Therapist Course, Duchenne Days Facebook Group, Duchenne Physical Therapy Facebook GroupVirtual Community Coffee Talks

Maintain Our Voice: Expert webinars, facilitating Q&As and providing information

Your Hope is Our Passion
We are on this journey together.  Fortunately, because of sound business practices, CureDuchenne has been an excellent steward of our donors’ contributions.  In the near future, we will be looking to you to help us fund our next research project. At this time, we’re simply asking you to link up with us by joining our database! This will help us continue to provide you with appropriate clinical trial information and the latest in medical care.

At a time when other organizations are cutting funding and freezing budgets, CureDuchenne is proud to say that we are not.
It takes a rare breed of people to stay committed when others pull back. When this crisis is over, a generation of people will still face life with Duchenne.  We stay committed to our mission because of you, the Duchenne community, and our commitment to you remains stronger than ever.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay positive. We WILL Cure Duchenne.

Sincerely,

Debra Miller
