This #GivingTuesday, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will Match Your Donation to CureDuchenne
Today, November 28, join CureDuchenne for #GivingTuesday, the global giving day that connects millions of people together to support and champion the causes they believe in by donating and fundraising on their behalf.
Following the Thanksgiving holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday is meant to inspire people to give back to charities like CureDuchenne, a nonprofit that raises awareness and funds research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
This year, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is matching up to $2 million of funds raised on Facebook for U.S. nonprofits! In addition, Facebook is waiving all fees for donations made to nonprofits on Facebook this #GivingTuesday.
By donating to CureDuchenne on #GivingTuesday, you are giving children and their families more to be thankful for this holiday season. Through donations, CureDuchenne aims to further develop treatments and research that will improve and lengthen the lives of all those affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Here’s how it works:
- Visit www.Facebook.com/cureduchenne today, Tuesday, November 28
- Make a contribution using the donate button on our page located at the top right section of our Facebook page
- Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match all proceeds up to $50,000
It’s that easy! #GivingTuesday is a special day where charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. Join CureDuchenne and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity! You can provide hope for children and young adults with Duchenne. Donate today!
