The Lone Star Triathlon, Galveston Island, TX

We accomplished a new feat today. We had our first "TRI" for the Boys who can't!! Bridget Revell finished strong in her first Triathlon, with a time of 1:36!!!!! (Her big brother Tim recently ran as a CureDuchenne Crusader in the Orange County and AT&T Austin Marathons.)
Bridget and Tim bravely donned their CureDuchenne Crusader capes through hurricane force winds during the last mile. The Capes became part of their bodies as the wind and DRIVING THUNDERSTORMS blew the capes all over the place, permanently attaching them to their bodies!!! It was a powerful rain storm but spunky Bridget fought the elements and pushed through! She did it with the help of God and Love of Timothy! She declared that she is hooked so I think there will be another one to come in the future.
"All the world is going to become familiar with the capes," said Tim Revell. They have now been in Austin, Texas for two runs and now in Galveston, Texas!!!! The CureDuchenne Crusaders will not be STOPPED!!!!
Way to go Bridget! You can officially bear the chant,
CureDuchenne!!!!
