|Be a CureDuchenne Advocate|
Ignorance is the enemy of Duchenne. In order to cure this disease, we urgently need to get the word out to support research and clinical trials. When we advocate for CureDuchenne, we raise awareness to raise the funds needed for research, to save our children. Here are some ways you can help us CureDuchenne:
Hold a family and friends event: Invite people to attend, hear your story about Duchenne, and share how they can help save this generation of boys. If you host a birthday party, donations could be requested instead of gifts. CureDuchenne can set up a fundraising page or registration page to assist you in planning.
Access your own fundraising page: We've made it easy for you to create and promote your fundraising efforts, and track all contributions and contributors. Customize your own page, then invite family and friends to give in honor or in memory of someone. Get started now
Organize an event through Crowdrise: Just like creating your own fundraising page, you can also get involved with an event online as well.
Ask kids to help kids: Young people can make a difference. Encourage them to get involved through fundraising events like car washes, bake sales, soccer tournaments, wristband sales, and crafts fairs. Again, we can help with donation or registration pages.
Donate through company matches: Many companies match donations made through their corporate gifting programs. Ask your company to add CureDuchenne as an approved charity.
Support us through United Way: United Way has included CureDuchenne as an authorized "write-in" charity. If your company's gifting program includes them, please write in CureDuchenne as your designated charity.
Contact local media: Help us tell the story of Duchenne. Contact us, and we'll send you a list of media outreach opportunities in your area.

We’ve made it easy for you to create and promote your own personal fundraising pages. You can build a custom donation page, then invite family and friends to give in honor or in memory of someone or in lieu of giving or getting gifts.
