At CureDuchenne, we’re very pleased to announce the plans for a Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) specific clinic at UCLA. Not too long ago, CureDuchenne committed $200,000 towards the clinic and research facility.

This is great news for parents of sons with DMD on the West Coast to have such a facility so close. We’re also pleased to have Carrie Miceli, Ph.D and Stanley Nelson, M.D., Ph.D. (both of whom serve as Scientific Advisors for CureDuchenne) leading the way at UCLA.

We have our annual Dealing For Duchenne Poker Tournament in Los Angeles coming up on June 12th at the Petersen Automotive museum. The event, led by Amy and Chris Martin, is sure to make for a great night for an even greater cause.
