Last year's event rocked the house! So, by popular demand, Rocking for Research is back!  This year, the prestigious Cherry Creek Marina and Yacht Club has generously donated the use of their facility to make it bigger and better than ever.

Our favorite band, Catchpenny, has been gaining nationwide acclaim and will once again perform in support of CureDuchenne and all the Duchenne boys.  One of their main supporters, Phil Solem, one half of The Rembrandts (and kown for the song "I'll Be There for You" from Friends) will join the fun and perform throughout the night.  This will be a night you won't want to miss!

As we face the future, we realize tackling this disorder head on is the only way we’ll ever find a cure.  Research for Duchenne is seriously under-funded.  Even though this is the most lethal genetic disorder of young boys worldwide, very few people know about it.  They don’t know that there is no cure and most of our boys won’t live much past their teens. Funding for Duchenne research is no where near that of other, less lethal, childhood disorders.  We want to put the pressure on to find a cure in time to save our boys.

We are supporters of CureDuchenne because they aggressively find and fund promising Duchenne specific research with a sense of urgency.  They want to be out of the Duchenne business within the next 10 years because a cure’s been found.  We want to help them get there.  Money makes a difference, and we’d like to challenge the Denver community to focus their charitable dollars to this orphan disease and help us bridge the funding gap.

Our sincere thanks for your compassion and generosity,
