Lions Club Rally and Poker Run to Cure Duchenne

The High Springs Florida Lions Club will be sponsoring a Club Rally and Poker Run to raise money for CureDuchenne.
The event will take place Saturday, July 18th, 2009.
(N. Hwy 27, just before the Santa Fe River Bridge.)
Among other things, activities will include:
- Live Music
- Poker Run
- Drawings
- 50/50
- Games
The Poker Run will begin and end at the High Springs Lions Club.
Drivers $10.00 and $5.00 for passengers, includes the famous Lions Club BBQ dinner after the run.
Last bike out at 10:00am – Last bike in at 2:pm
All proceeds will go to non- profit charity, CureDuchenne, to help save 5 year old Evan Procko and other boys with suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Evan’s Father, Bill, is one of 11 other climbers that will be climbing Mt. Rainier in Washington State this August to raise money and awareness to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
