Bill Procko, one of the climbers for the 2009 Climb to Cure Duchenne, has already begun raising awareness in the community. Climbing Mt. Rainier was Bill’s original idea to raise awareness and money for research. We quickly embraced it here at CureDuchenne and have helped to put a climbing team together.
Each member of the climbing team will raise money for research knowing that it will put us one step closer to finding a cure. We’ll post more information about the official climbing team and the fundraising efforts as details emerge.
We invite eveyone to help Bill and the rest of the climbers in their quest to make this a truly amazing event and to help find a cure for Duchenne!
