This year CureDuchenne is gearing up for an exciting fundraising event. Parents, friends, and everybody who wants to get involved is welcome to join us as we climb Mt. Rainier in Washington State this August!

It’s going to be an amazing event. Bill Procko, Father of a Duchenne boy and Climber extraordinaire dreamed up the idea and now we’re moving full throttle to make this one of our most exciting fundraising events ever!

We hope to have a team of 18 climbers each raising $14410 (the elevation of Mt. Rainier).

Interested in getting involved? There’s still room on the climbing team.

DMD Moms, Dads, or anyone involved with, or touched in any way by the

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy community/family……  please respond

 immediately if you are interested!

We are currently recruiting a team of 18 participants to climb Mount

Rainier in Washington State, during the month of August 2009.

**No prior climbing experience is required however, participants must

be extremely physically fit and motivated to raise sponsorship

donations totaling $14,410 dollars each, between now and the August climb date.

14,410 is the elevation of Mt. Rainier. As a result, well over

$200,000.00 will head to the labs!

Researchers are closer than ever to helping our boys. Now, more than

ever, we need to amp up efforts to fund them!

**Essentially, climbers will be selling “feet” until each collects $14,410.

Businesses/donators sponsoring $5,000 or more (feet) will have their

logos printed on the Cure Duchenne banner for a summit photo.

Respond quickly to be part of this historic ascent. And be sure to

tell anyone else you know that would also be interested in participating!

 ACTION IS THERAPY.
